Here are a few tips to find $100 in your budget this week!
Review your insurance policies
Determine whether you are overpaying and shop around for the best deal. Consider increasing deductibles, but only to an affordable amount to reduce costs. Don’t forget to ask about discounts!
Cut the premium channels
Determine whether you really need 150 channels! If you are paying for channels you are not using, it may be time to cut back.
Make adjustments to your withholdings
Don’t let Uncle Sam use your money interest free! If you are withholding too much, consider visiting the IRS withholding calculator to determine the correct amount that should be withheld.
Review your bank statements
Do a quick audit of your expenses and find ways to cut back. Pick up the phone and contact service providers and creditors. Question whether there are discounts that may be available or lower cost options.
Put your “dining out” on a budget!
Consider putting your eating out on a budget. For at least one week, commit to eating at home to save more. In addition, place a limit on eating out.

It is important to create a roadmap for your finances – a budget. Remember, your budget does not have to be complicated, just simple and easy to use. Consider using three steps — A, B and C — to get back on track.A — Automated savings
If you have struggled in the past with savings, set up an automatic draft to have the money withdrawn directly from your checking account and deposited into a savings account.
B — Bill management
Determine the total amount of your monthly bills. Then, set up a checking account dedicated strictly to paying your bills.
C– Cash for other purposes
By this point, you have determined the amount you need to tithe, save and spend. Whatever remains is yours to spend as you wish!
